Edit: it has come to our attention that the game speed (and thus the difficulty) changes based on hardware, making the game potentially un-playable on higher difficulties. I'll try to get right on that.

uh im not sure what the love letters do i thought they might give hp or smth, but the graphics are really good
Thank you so much! the love-letters do infact replenish your lives but only up to a maximum of 3. If that is still not the case then that´s on me.
